One more Tyler and Winspear await Carat sampling results Winspear Resources Ltd WSP Shares issued 39,238,388 Apr 28 close $3.79 Thu 29 Apr 99 News Release See Tyler Resources Inc (TYS) News Release Ms. Barbara O'Neill reports Tyler has received the following update on the Carat property as provided by the operator, Winspear Resources. This project area is about 350 kilometres northeast of Yellowknife and covers an area of about 94,000 acres. A joint venture agreement between Tyler and Winspear gives Winspear the option to earn a 70 per cent interest in the property. Winspear will issue 200,000 shares, in four equal blocks, over an 18 month period and will incur exploration expenditures of at least $2-million on the property by Dec. 31, 2002. A total of 100,000 shares of Winspear has been received to date. The Carat property adjoins the northeast corner of the BHP-DiaMet block on which the Ekati mine is situated, and the east boundary of the Tanqueray/Mill City property on which SouthernEra is presently earning an interest. To date 3,900 kilometres of detailed airborne magnetometer and electromagnetic geophysical surveys have been conducted over the Carat property. In addition, 400 till samples have been collected and are currently being processed. Evaluation of the results obtained from the airborne geophysical surveys and till sampling has identified several areas to follow up. Further sampling work will be undertaken during the summer of 1999, followed by a diamond drill program should results warrant. The estimated expenditure for the next exploration program in 1999 is $500,000. (WSP-V) is pleased to report on its on-going exploration projects in the Slave province, NWT. Hilltop Project: The Hilltop Project covers an area of approximately 265,000 acres that is owned 100% by Winspear. This property adjoins the southwest corner of the Camsell Lake property and is situated about 180 km northeast of Yellowknife. In addition, scattered claim blocks totaling 90,000 acres within the Hilltop project boundaries are held under a Joint Venture with SouthernEra Resources Ltd. in which Winspear has an 80% interest and is Operator. Exploration during the summer of 1998 located several promising indicator mineral trains, some of which are associated with kimberlite fragments. A program of ground geophysics and diamond drilling was initiated during the winter / spring of 1999 in an attempt to locate the source of these kimberlite indicators. A total of 1904 metres of drilling was completed to test 14 geophysical and indicator mineral targets. Although no kimberlite was intersected in these drill holes, a follow-up till sampling program is planned for the summer of 1999 to better define the area containing the indicator mineral trains and to test new ground that has been recently acquired. In addition to this work, a detailed airborne geophysical survey comprising about 5100 line-km was undertaken over that part of the property that was staked in late 1998. A total of about 14,000 line-km of airborne geophysics has now been completed over the combined Hilltop and Cache properties. A total budget of $1.5 million has been established for the Hilltop area in 1999. Tired of the BS that goes on here so better to stay away. I already new the nr would not contain to much in it just an update. More Drill holes as the market new before and I would say with the hilltop being a dud so far after 13 targets drilled and no kimberlite pipes Diamondx is already built into the price of Winspear.The only reason Winspear went up today was because more news was expected after todays close. My Opinion only is Wsp will drop tommorow on this news as all other updates there was a sell off. Cheers.
