News Release American Eco Outsourcing and Fabrication Contract Backlog Hits $300 million HOUSTON, May 5 /CNW-PRN/ - AMERICAN ECO CORPORATION (NASDAQ:ECGOF, TSE:ECX) announced that American Eco subsidiaries MM Industra and CCG, have received new contracts for US$10.3 million, pushing American Eco's total 1999 outsourcing and fabrication contract backlog to a record level of $300.0 million for the end of April period, up 20% over the same period in 1998. Each operating unit continues to see strong growth, particularly in the industrial service sector.
