I agree with your thought that clock speed is irrelevant. I feel the important differences will be two things: 1) reliability and effective speech recognition capability and 2) product durability.

Even though the two divisions at Siemens may not be right next to each other, surely the superior product will be discussed around the water cooler. One thing I noticed about Mentis is that it seems awfully bulky when the battery pack is added. Too bulky when the CD module is added, although the CD unit will probably not be needed often. I can't seem to find anything from the Xybernaut website that shows the sixe of the CPU unit itself like the Teltronics site does... teltronics.com. Can anyone comment further?
