Schlep: Great name...I really hate using margin with the markets at all time highs..in fact I'm about 25 % cash right now and would use options for maximum leverage without committing too much cash..but I acknowledge and basically agree with your pov..regards

The spread for option is just too high (sometimes more than 10%). So it's more cost effective to just buy the stock itself when it's under 10.

And you don't have to watch the expiration either.
