CPQ mktg chief quits to join a private wireless co.
Meanwhile, according to Dow Jones, Compaq's (CPQ: news, msgs)
marketing chief is said to be leaving and joining a private wireless
company. The news comes on the heels of other management changes.
The Houston-based company's stock 13/16 to 22 7/8.

Well, I just bought Compaq 20 Jan/2001-calls for $9. They're already $3ish in the money, with 20 months of time left. I think this could end up being one of the biggest investment-gains I've had in the last several years...although the PLAT-buyout by CA was a nice one.

Anyone have positive or negative thoughts about buying (now) ZKPAD (Compaq 20 Jan/2001-calls) @ $9-under? Seems like a no-brainer...
