Please cite a reference for your assertion that 13 Iridium satelites have failed.

To put in an insurance claim, Iridium must have two failures in the same plane. They have filed three claims, for $59 million each(for birds 24&71, 20&44, and 11&14).

The latest SeeSat viewings indicate Iridium 48 is now tumbling. I think that is a new one.
