International Telepresence (Canada) Inc - International Telepresence partners with Microstereopsis International Telepresence (Canada) Inc ITLP Shares issued 33,235,777 1999-04-26 close $0.67 Tuesday Apr 27 1999 Mr. William Henry reports International Telepresence's medical division has signed a letter of intent to license its 3-D imaging technology to Microstereopsis Corporation, of Ijamsville, Ma., the developer of a patented two camera video display system for surgical and stereoscopic microscopes having two optical channels called Retro-Opsis which retrofits existing microscopes with 3-D video capability. The Telepresence system will also be used and tested side by side with the Microstereopsis product at the United States Food and Drug Administration Laboratory (USFDA) in Maryland, commencing immediately. A comparison of the technologies, will be the subject of an article by the editor-in-chief of Circuits and Devices Magazine. The pending three-year exclusive contract will cover all countries except Canada. Certain other restrictions will apply.
