It never occurred to me that you would say anything nasty about me!
And yes-- George LOVES to pull my chain. For that matter he loves to pull everyone's. It's his hobby.

Does this mean you no longer want to relocate to Ireland? What did your daughter think about it and was your husband happy to get "home"?

We've had several Littleton copycat situations in the Dallas schools- several resulting in expulsions and even arrests. What happened to the girl who wrote the letter? ANd what about this nuclear attack???
I so seldom read the papers or watch news, I manage to avoid a lot of stress.

The great college search was not at all fun. And endured was the right word. CW has decided on Rice University. The night he made the decision he was a wreck. He had been accepted at all his schools except Stanford and had a really wonderful scholarship offer at one. When he wrote the acceptance letter, he was near tears and shaking, he was so stressed. I don't know if all kids get like this. Some only applied at, say, Texas Tech, got in, and that was that. It may have been the level of school CW applied to--- the highly selective schools don't let you know until April so it's a long wait from application to acceptance. ANd now we're starting all over with Ammo. He's such a different type of person and student (reminds me of Stephen actually) that we'll be traveling to a whole new group of schools.

This weekend is Prom. It's hard to believe we're only a month from graduation. My emotions are as volatile as this market. I'm proud and happy, and scared and miserable.
