I view it akin to buying a lotto ticket. I may be throwing money down a rat hole, but on the other hand, I may end up being able to retire before I'm 40. If the business plan is only half as good as they say it is, this still could have the revenues of an Ebay or Inktomi. And if 'netmania is still roaring two years from now, this could be an explosive IPO. I know, a BIG IF. And I can't wait until the VCs do their DD; the whole point of this round of financing is to show the VCs that they have the muscle to raise money. If the VCs cough up dough, there will be no use for small-fry like me after that. I have to decide to fish or cut bait in a few weeks.

I signed a non-disclosure, so I can't talk in too much detail about it. But according to my friend it's "the next big thing" in organizing and finding information on the web. Kind of a "push" technology. I've not seen it action, but it's actually very close to beta testing. There's nothing like it on the web right now.

Thanks for your thoughts.

Doughboy.
