James: How do you like those feature-rich crashes which MSFT is so famous for? As long as your talking about possible weaknesses of SUNW let's talk about the weaknesses of your advocacies on this thread for MSFT. I'm not talking about profits, a company can make more profits than any company in the business and still have a poor quality product (as evidenced so lucidally by MSFT). The problem is, eventually it catches up with them. As long as MSFT continues the pathetic quality of their products they are vulnerable. They are incapable of even achieving quality parity with even the lowliest Unix, Linux. Therefore, if one really needs to get something done, why use MSFT? Their quality is so poor, that it has a marked impact on productivity. Therefore, why buy the Micro$lop?

thats right my friend..as I said before many times UNIX was never meant to be running off the shelf packages fore home use...It is a highly capable and powerful system to run complex number crunching, modeling, 3-D graphics and animation as well as engineering specific packages. That is where unix rules. NT can not even come close...even INTEL doesn't use Wintel for their engineering WS...that should tell you a lot...
