Makes IBMers mobile - buyouts feasible - no mention of the boat Hopefully IBM will add to the plan over time . Most tech start ups attract/keep employees based on appreciating stock usually held in their 401K . Employees feel the 401K is theirs to move from career step to step without having to wait until retirement qualification . The plan is not every IBMer's answer . However it permits IBM to buyout smaller companies without extending its salary retirement plan , plus frees up some heavy duty assets . Can't understand how IBM overlooked adding my overlooked boat in the plan . Jim K.
