I'd have announced that they could go pound sand and gone on with the important business at hand.

consider what has occurred because mgmt has been building support for voip. they have more than doubled the price of the stock by just teasing investors, while voip continues to gain market presence. they could have continued, but seem to have a strategy for maximizing shareholder value which will involve a rising price for the long term at the expense of a one time pop.

if they were going to open another auction site, clearly they would be moving to slow, instead they are laying the groundwork for the first pure voip internet play.

they still have the heavy artillary waiting. hawaii pointed this out to me long ago (3 months ago?), and clearly the idtc mgmt has done more for shareholder value than a mad rush with a product the market may not be ready for. instead they are positioning n2p and the core assets of idtc to be valued fairly.
