What is intellectually and morally honest about creating a society where children--who have always been feisty and aggressive but used to mainly use their fists to resolve issues until they grew out of that stage of their lives--now have all the tools to blow themselves and all their classmates away? There are plenty of intellectually and morally honest people in other "civilized" societies, and curiously, they do not feel they need to create such an insane shooting gallery.
