Nemer, if you hit ESC when that logo shows up, it will disappear, but a smaller version on the logo appears in the upper right hand corner, along with BIOS information and a line telling you to hit DEL to enter setup. This Dell logo hides the BIOS information during POST.

This is a firmware feature. I have formatted the hard drive, it's not a file that can be removed. It is NOT annoying like the Windows splash screen, it only lasts a few seconds, then the computer goes through the boot up phase.
