Open Text raises PC Docs bid to $205M
canoe.ca
"Honestly speaking, I don't care what Open Text is doing," Mr. Sorkin said yesterday. "It's not ethical at all in our business, but probably for them it doesn't matter. It absolutely sounds ridiculous what the guy is doing at Open Text. In the software business, I never saw such things."

In fact, Mr. Stewart said, getting access to PC Docs' customer base could be worth as much as $10 a share. "I'm willing to take the chance that Tom won't up his bid [but] I think he'll pay more."

Hummingbird is offering one of its shares for three PC Docs shares, in a deal which values PC Docs at about $8.16 a share based on yesterday's closing price.

If Hummingbird shares increase again today my guess is that OTX will have to up the bid and it looks like $10 bucks might be the magic number.
