Hello Michael, I believe that Serbian resistance is coming to an end! Today the Serbs forwarded another peace plan! It is not acceptable, but they are warming up to NATO. Cernomyerdin was nominated by Yieltsin, to handle the peace negotiation with Serbs! Why? He is less qualified than the Russian Prime Minster that is an able diplomat, or Foreign Minster Ivanov! Yieltsin wants him to win the next Russian Presidential election, and he needs the victory to build his platform for the next presidential election! If Yieltsin knew that he will fail, he wouldn't have appointed him. Keep in mind that Russians enjoy a great influence within the Serbian Army and if Milosovic doesn't co-operate, there will be a coup organized within the party appratus and triggered by Russians! (The same way they used General Militarescu against in Romania. Nobody likes the present crisis, but I beleive NATO will not back down, too much at stake, Milosovic will!
