At Hambrecht&Quist Conference this week, Dell's Chief Financial Officer, Tom Meredith, stated that PC sales would be SUBSTANTIALLY higher this year. He further said that for the past 3 years, Dell's PC sales have grown 6 to 9 times the average industry rate and, what's more, sales in China have more than doubled. Information was gleaned from Smart Money Interactive this morning. Dell is due to report earnings on May 18th, after the bell. EB
