'Another look at AOL
That's led me to reconsider my valuation for AOL. I think the company can sustain its growth rates for longer than I projected earlier and I think for that reason the stock deserves a premium to Internet portals such as Lycos (LCOS), which was the standard that I used in my earlier valuation. Re-calculating the numbers, I come up with a 12-month price target of $184 for the stock. That gives me a potential 30% return in a year, so I'm adding the stock to Jubak's Picks. (I think my old target of $95 is now a pretty good estimate of downside risk. We are in a typical post-Internet earnings sell-off. So be careful on the downside.)'
