Tantalum Market Info. re. Pakeagama Lake property... HIGHLIGHTS FROM SONS OF GWALIA'S QUARTERLY REPORT TANTALUM PRODUCTION AND SALES BOTH MEET TARGETS (23 April 1999) The Company said that tantalum production from the Wodgina and Greenbushes Mines in Western Australia was 226,515 lbs. with sales of 217,523 lbs. made during the quarter. Production and sales were in line with budget. The Company said that construction of the expanded processing facilities at the Wodgina Mine is well-advanced. Commissioning will occur in July 1999 and will increase production levels from 180,000 lbs. to 300,000 lbs. of tantalite per year. ______ DRT
