I for one don't understand them - it seems that a lot of shares held by short term traders rather than people holding long term, as shown by the large # of AMZN shares dumped yesterday as people didn't want to hear that they might have to wait a few months for real profits.

I think it's possible to make money by buying the strong stocks on the dips and taking profits when possible.
