Good statistical information for MSGI re: Internet advertiser's spending habits.

The top 10 Internet advertisers by ad spending are: Microsoft, IBM, Excite, General Motors, Infoseek, Digital Equipment, Compaq Computer, Datek Securities, 3Com, and AT&T and 1st Qtr. through 3rd Qtr. 1998 they spent $25.5 million, $21 million, $8.8 million, $8.2 million, $7.0 million, $6.2 million, $5.9 million, $5.9 million, $5.4 million, and $5.3 million, respectively.

Large tracts of online economic terrain remain unconquered. But not for long. Business-to-business e-commerce will draw 90 percent of the projected $1.4 trillion in total Internet-based business by 2003, according to Forrester Research, and a new breed of small, private companies - business-to-business infomediaries (like MSGI) - are blazing the trail. In dozens of industries, infomediaries (MSGI) are slashing costs, speeding transactions, wringing efficiencies, and forgoing new relationships. Make no mistake, MSGI's potential is enormous. Within five years, companies like MSGI are going to fundamentally reorganize the economy.
