Long term LGPT holder and follower. The technology is said to increase the efficiency of mathmatical computation over 100-fold (i.e, decrease the speed) while decreasing the amount of silicon real-estate required by 90%. Any application using a floating point co-processor should be able to use this instead, freeing up silicon for other applications. I suppose the implications for WIND and everyone else would be that if this really is a better mousetrap, then everyone will wind up using it or be smoked by the competitor who does use it. There have been some good technical posts on the process back a few months ago on the LGPT thread. David
