Richard, There's a difference between "loyalty" and "blind, unquestioned, unthinking, cultish, lemming-like loyalty." I will never, ever, ever subscribe to the latter type of loyalty. I have defended Anthony against others (ie: the guy who blamed Anthony for his loss on DEMP). On a more philosophical level, it is blind loyalty like yours which allowed Hitler to kill six million Jews, Stalin to kill 30 million of his own people, and Mao to kill 30 million of his own people. If there is anything to be learned from this century -- including from the conflict in Kosovo -- it is that blind loyalty is destructive and evil. You see it as a virtue. Enough said.
