Many of you have received emails from a small group of us who are immersed in the "Refugee Project", you might call it. Our Owl (Dana Moore), who worked so hard for the MTEI group, is going to Macedonia to help work with the Albanian Kosovar refugees. Our project is described in the website that is almost finished at: geocities.com The response from those emails sent out last night has been wonderful. I have received notes from MTEI people contributing a total of $1355 today. This pays for the rest of Dana's (Owl's) airline ticket and buys hundreds of "space blankets" - small waterproof blankets warm and dry enough to keep a person who is otherwise sleeping on the mud somewhat safe during the night. $1355 - from you guys. Plus those who have put checks in the mail and haven't told me. The website explains that all contributions are tax deductible, etc. Please take a look at it if you haven't, and please help us. The plight of these people is the worst, it seems, of any since 1945. It is horrible history happening right in our midst. THIS time we are going to do something about it. And the internet is being put to the right use to do so.
