SOROS, EXCELLENT observation ! Since Paul Allen is an X big kahuna from MS and I understand Bob Glaser was also at MS in an executive position for a # of years they must have a prior working relationship and perhaps a "shared vision" of the industries future ? They are also both aware of MS business tactics and understand the way to prevent being devoured or crushed by MS is through strong industry alliances. Monday will be very interesting....... BIDS has stated that they have other revenue streams that they are developing, including becoming the home shopping network of the internet. THIS IS FACT. How are they going to do this technically? This is where RNWK comes in, IMO. A few hundreds or thousands of posts ago, LiveWire indicated that BIDS registered the name BIDSTUDIOS. THIS IS FACT. What is Bidstudios? Can it be the stage for their home shopping network that they will use with RNWK for filming? Possibly, IMO. What does RNWK get out of this? A chance to expand vertically and add another source of revenue. RNWK is to make a major(?) announcement on Monday. THIS IS FACT. Sorry for the long post...but RNWK and BIDS in the same bed? Not really so far fetched.
