Actually, I don't think it is. But that's irrelevant. I have no reason or grounds to sue you. Merely some advice.

you are correct, it is not illegal to threaten someone with a lawsuit. but fwiw it is an overused and some what questionable tactic that many on SI employ. All it does is get everyone hot under the collar and talking at each other and not to each other.
