diana, you are a very polite person, so I like to read you post. From my personal experience on this thread, I think there are some longs on this thread who still hold some oil sector stocks they bought back in 1997 when they were at all time high. So they still have huge paper loss, even if after this bull run in the last month or so. So these people are very touchy. They perhaps blame traders or shorts for their misery. However, the fact is, this game is played by the big players. None of us who post here, can influence the market, one way or another. Those couple of hundreds, or couple of thousands shares do not mean anything to the market.
