Of course, it would only be natural for SNDK to have a slight bias even though it's a rational and plausible argument. For those new to EDIG, SNDK is Sandisk, maker of flash memory.

The SNDK argument isn't likely to be as plausible in relation to a non-portable unit as I speculated the micro drive could be used for. SNDK surely doesn't suggest that the hard drive is going to be replaced in our PC's anytime soon, do they? <rhetorical> I'm not so sure I agree with any of the SNDK argument but that is irrelevant.
