goldbug, <<any junior companies that you like?>> Most that I play are just wild speculations, desert dirts, very high risk. I won't begin to recommend those to anyone. RIC is a nice little company, but it trades so thinly that you can't trade more than 200 shares without moving the market. If you think inflation is back, silver with SSRI may pay. I safely trade the precious metal market with the mutual fund RYPMX, a proxy on the XAU.

You might take a look at ASA -- not just gold, but some platinum and diamonds, too. Might want to wait for a dip. I think it does have durban in it ... was tradin at a discount to NAV a month or two back when I bought it ... don't know now, but you can call 'em and find out.
