Ellen, warranting that one is responsible for accuracy is not
that same as warranting that something *is* accurate. One means
that you are saying something is true, the other means that if
it isn't true then its your fault and all blame goes your way.

Its a way for BW to avoid liability. Like you said before, BW does
not have football fields of verifiers in its employ. However BW
could require its member to warrant that releases are accurate.
It just chooses not to.

"Is responsible" means that the liability of giving false information falls to the person providing the information and not BusinessWire.

Their complaint asserts that the information must be factual.

The difference is that the first simply says you take responsibility if it is not. The second says it must be correct.

Now do you see the difference? Or does it have to bite you in the rear first?
