E-TRADE DOES SUCK!!! I thought there might be a board out there like this. Of course, I also must be one of the small unlucky people that can't get on. Been trying today for an hour! Seriously thinking of going elsewhere, but not sure who to go with. This reminds me of AOL a couple of years ago......they kept advertising and advertising (like E-Trade), but were unable to keep up with the volume. No one could get on-line. The small ISP provider was and still is the way to go. I need a small, competent online broker.......any recommendations? Sincerely, Paris

Gee, it's my unlucky day too. I must be one of those unfortunate short term sporadic traders that have given up trying to trade today. After many attempts, I finally got to the preview page and then decided that the risk of initiating a new trade without the ability to exit just presents too much risk... Isn't it just great that Etrade is going to "upgrade" their bloated web pages again in a couple of weeks, with more pop-up windows and features for the general public...when they can't even get the present system to function for a simple trade? The Classic site was much more dependable, faster, easier to use.. & was retired in spite of the objections of many long time customers.
