kids kids the nuts are prolly a tad frothy(including the biggest yard sale in the world aka ebay) but for you to put down a time frame for a major crash like that is a bit bold. After all doomsayers have been saying that for the past couple years. In any case, if you are so sure its going to be @ $20/sh on 12/31/99 why not buy jan00 puts. much less capital tied up especially because they are so DOOM.

OT memflyken2, Angry ? I just think it was timely....when you start being derogatory about the future of technology, its time someone asks you to be responsible for your remarks ! You won't "dignify my rantings with a remark" but you pick on those little kids on the YHOO boards by throwing your CEO position around !!!! Interesting to say the least - you know how MANY successful people and executives we have on SI ? On this thread alone ? Thats why I said, pick on someone your own age ! Of course I'm game, but I'm curious - you said a "little" wager ! Considering that you have to cover at $20 or Dec 31, whichever comes first, I'd say I'd be prepared for a lot more than little, but because little is a relative term, I'll let you choose ! Of course I'm tying up my capital so it has to worth my while as well ! :-) My little one is sick with fever so I may take some time getting back. But hey, this should be interesting ! An inet bear finally putting his money where his mouth is ! Oooooh, this should be exciting, esp once Ebay splits ! You can still bail out if you want, but you have to promise to be more tolerant of the internets, and to admit you know very little about the hi tech industry !!!!!
