CPQ will see the teens when the party gets started, you'll probably be able to pick it up for 15 late summer/fall -ng-

Actually, I was contemplating buying some tech calls at the close yesterday expecting an oversold bounce on the Nasdaq. But I'm trying to stay away from the daytrading game...tough to do in a volatile topping market...my CAT puts are above water (knock on wood, famous last words -ng-).

If you look at a DOW chart it's looking just a tad overbought. I'm concentrating on putting some DOW stocks, call me an idiot because I am! They'll probably run it up over 11,000 but I'm going to accumulate puts on the cyclical garbage, because my interpretation of that rotation is it's a sign of exhaustion in the high flyers, and the market is ready to take a breather :-)

And in my dumb way of thinking, the inflationary data creeping out does not bode well for these overbought cyclicals either...The techs will probably take the biggest point drops, but I'm tired of getting whipsawed on those options, and they're awfully expensive....

Maybe CPQ will announce that they are going to compete with AT&T for MediaOne.

Softie would knock their block off now that they are in that game, too. -vbg- That's just what I need is them sumbitches owning my cable company. Having to put up with Windows is bad enough. -s-
