by the way, i don't think anyone can seriously argue against the merrits of insider buying. it's clearly a positive signal (if it's typically done in a timely matter). obviously, it's not the ONLY factor to consider when buying stocks, but there are publications dedicated to insider buying... yes, people actually do follow this.

if they are sharp enough to sell at 35, they should be sharp enough to use some of that same cash to buy at these levels (given they feel the company is truly turning). sure, they may not be able to, due to insider constraints, but nothing kept them from buying for the last 6 months. don't just pass over what Web's friend was saying because you don't like the overall tone.

rightly or wrongly, the investment community would salivate if insiders were buying (not just Noam, but ANY).
