CYOE - I've never been through one of those, but as I understand it, if the shares are removed into a cash account, all the "borrows" are called back. This means that most have to either find other shares to borrow (not likely if a huge block is moved to cash), or you have to buy the stock to replace, thus the squeeze WITHOUT a buying rush starting it.

Can someone real familiar with this mechanism provide some guidance with CYOE?
