reits amazing how dumb the crowd can be IBD says that short interest of amateurs is a contrary indicator: the more shorters the less chance the market will go down. However short interest of the pros is a good indicator. So even though they tell us the wrong thing they apparently do the right thing. Except...most mutual funds do not perform as well as the dow. So life is full of contraries. Freeus (Not a holder or a shorter of Amazon, just curious how it was doing today)
