One must observe meaningful differences. As I have said before, it trivializes their crimes,

I understand your point here, but I don't think you see mine. Hitler, Stalin and Mao are known commodities, their atrocities well understood by Clinton and his crowd. But they are history. Their atrocities could never be repeated by civilized men, Clinton included. This is a given.

Clinton's model of heinousness is based on recklessness. His unwillingness to heed caution in conflict, protect our defense systems, and expose our unpreparedness are overt acts on a par with the vicious crimes of the past.

An analogy might be the Texas dragging murder. The outcry was swift and furious. But, using your historical comparison model, the killer should have received only a wrist slap because the crime wasn't that bad when compared with the daily lynchings of the 1850s.
