Since firearms are not my bag, I will leave their defense to others. I just wanted to point out that I have often enough mentioned honorable liberals, and even a couple of times honorable socialists. To blame Littleton on certain things associated with liberalism, like the propensity to be leery about upholding standards of personal responsibility and decency, is not exactly for- fetched, though...You are the one constantly making fun of the moral reformationists, as if it were patently absurd to want to do a better job of inculcating good character...

Schuh, we don't need more guns. We need to hold those with guns responsible for their actions. We need discipline in the schools. We need discipline in the homes. We need rules and consequences. We need parents to get intimately involved with the activities of their children. We need adults to intervene when they see a broken kid. And we need cops and social service workers to do their jobs, properly. Probably not much a president can do on any of these.
