um..... Steve? it's not a purchase Steve. it's a rental deal. Gobi is offering customers in the US an integrated computing service that features a new, state-of-the-art multimedia computer bundled with Corel WordPerfect Suite 8 OEM and unlimited Internet access for only US $25.99 a month (plus a one-time setup fee of US $29.99 and a shipping and handling charge of US $45.00). Gobi will constantly upgrade the software and hardware components of the service, and will provide subscribers with a brand new computer every 36 months, to keep them current with the latest technology. At best the release is ambiguous. Clearly Suite 8 OEM is included. Whatever "constantly upgrade the software" means is open to interpretation, just as is the reference to "state of the art" earlier in the quote. Details, details.... Regards, Leo
