Bill Gates has donated millions to educational resources including Washington University. And I agree BG is a good marketer. My comments have to do with not poo-pooing an enterprise based simply on its past inexperiences in a given field. Lou Gertsner (sp?) worked for Nabisco. So what's cheese and crackers have to do with computers? Not a lot but IBM has boomed under his leadership. Just because Zapata is in the fish oil business doesn't mean they can't hit a home run in the Internet market. Unfortunately, I doubt they will as they have proven time and time again that this is simply a ploy to dump shares of Zapata at higher prices than they acquired them. I wonder if Glazier and Ross Perot are friends? Seems like Zapata borrowed a strategy of his..."we're in, we're out, we're in..."
