I think it is a matter of seeing what you expect. You read that and expect to see "paint drying", so that's what you see even though it said "dry paint".

Anyway, I like the twist on the expression and have gotten some laughs from friends when using it. Sometimes though no one notices because again they expect to hear "paint drying" and think that is what I said.

Did your CYOE letter get posted yet?
