its majority owned subsidiary, in the sale of oil and gas
and the exploration for and development of oil and gas
reserves. For the 6 months ended 12/31/98, total revenues
decreased 25% to $6.8M. Net loss totalled $115K vs. an
income of $536K. Revenues suffered from lower oil prices.
Loss also suffered from higher production costs at Mereenie
and an unfavorable exchange rate.
