RE: production start-up: I'd asked Lev at the shareholders meeting in February if he would ever need to produce ahead of a purchase order. He replied that the production rates are so high that he would quickly run out of storage space. Many of us here have also speculated as to whether he could comfortably start with multiple shifts.

With the elapsed time since the SM, they've gotten comfortable: I've heard that he is ready to produce using the first two lines (*), at high run rates right from the get-go, and all he's waiting for is the signal from the repackager(s). Current quarantine intervals being used for these lines are less than two weeks, and can be further reduced once production has commenced.

(*) 'first two lines' meaning: 1. the older (Klockner) laptop line and 2. the Arcotronics cellphone line; the 3rd line is also an Arcotronics line, the one which Jean-Claude saw them test-running (capable of being quickly modified for different cell sizes); then the 4th line would be the high-speed laptop line Jean-Claude referred to.
