TWICK, you advised caution as follows:
"U.S. blue chips erase gains, inflation worries nag."
You're right, and I did something totally uncharacteristic of myself just now.

Instead of stowing away cash, I bought more Wal-Mart (WMT) on weakness in the stock, probably caused by a silly downgrade byPrudential from "accumulate" to "Hold"

I like the dividends WMT pays and the thought of all those nice home and garden supplies it will be selling this Spring, plus its recent announcement not to expand in Great Britain--a wise move, it appears, for profits and its shareholders.

Another nice little dividend-paying stock that my mutual funds hold but I do not, but would like to own and have been watching, is NWL.

I figure if inflation strikes, more people than ever are going to be buying low-cost consumer products, hence my attraction right now to WMT and NWL.
