The Devil's advocate here.

Just for the sake of ???

Our Three Muskcaveers (management) may be a paranoid bunch. Behind every pillar may be lurking
an eight hundred pound gorilla ready to step on our Musk's at any moment.

Flash back to the past. Why would our bunch be so paranoid? Did they sell some important people
a chunk of shares at $32 area, telling of the excellent prospects that were about to be launched back
at the ranch. (I think people call this a secondary),not to mention convincing tens of little people. So
with the important people and the little people on board a series of things happened that cause the
stock to evaporate almost thirty points. Our M-veers couldn't be held responsible for the series of
incredible bad timing, smart short experts realizing that the King (SEC) was suddenly looking at many
folks that buy other companies and then
may be disguising poor earnings as improved earnings. Everybody else is doing it, so it's OK.
All the while, our M's do not either know how or want to tell the world about our exciting company
(I think this is called first rate marketing) because if they do it might attract the eight hundred pound
gorillas and being they only have their swords to defend with they desperately vote/joke ask
shareholders to approve a ton more shares to be able to drop on the aggressors, if/when they get
hungry. Then they convince some very smart people to buy $150 mil of bonds to insure they have
enough blood to last the invasion but the smart people made our M's become blood brothers so they
slit their thumbs and bought some shares (with THEIR money!) Now they have put THEIR money
where their hardworking butts and mouths have been.

Suddenly...suppliers did not make their part order deadlines.
Instantly, our products become obsolete (nature of the Beast) and so we are told due to
circumstances out of their control, they think it wise to
go into "a quiet period" while our M's reinvent the company. During the quite period, the big and little
people get hurt financially. The big people will get even and the little people get a day job, maybe two
jobs.

Our M's have been so quiet that the guerillas and everyone else think they are dead.
While being quiet for what seems a lifetime, our M's perform, some may feel miracles, incredible
products, buy start-up award winning and other start-up companies.
The three Muskcaveers have products that they know are superior and might be a year ahead of most players of this game. IMO
Pretty smart M's..eh!

So, the point...IF our M's are paranoid of attracting too much attention, maybe IF they were to
personally buy some stock at SALE prices, the smart people may interpret this as a significant sign
that they are truely convinced or very confident of their hard work.
This COULD be a way of our M's to SUPPORT the stock's price, maybe even boost it to levels
where they would not have to be so worried of a HOSTILE buyout.

Having bored everyone with all this...all this COULD go all away if the China Deal is as significant
as we all hope.

Just some thoughts for food.

John

PS someone is buying a hell of a lot of shares, today LHFC Market Maker on the ask a lot

Sector, all due respect, but i think sometimes you actually believe MRVC and Noam are synonymous.... guess what, WE risked $950k... not THEY... and, there's no doubt that was a better risk than buying back about 3% of the shares... what i'm saying is insiders- not the company- should be buying shares.

i think it would be idiotic for the company to be buying back shares rather than making strategic acquisitions-- as long as those acquisitions are to grow the company at a FAR greater rate than they are paying for the money borrowed. clearly, they are placing the money into a very high risk environment... don't you think everyone would be more comfortable if insiders were buying to validify their belief in the placement of this money, as well as our money???

oh, by the way, i took the proceeds from the mrvc shares i sold and bought some mck.... still long mrvc-- just not as much. if i had a new account come to me today, i'd be buying some mrvc for them...
