If AOL wins the battle for Mediaone along with Comcast, AOL will be THE company for the next century. If that happens, you won't be able to get out of ATHM and MSPG fast enough. However, I think the stakes are too high for T. They are too rich and will top any bid AOL/Comcast/Msft can muster. I am not that familiar with the cable business, but there must be another company that AOL can bid for. I do think this is a great strategy, though. Even if they fail, they will force T to pay more and weaken them a bit.

Hmmmmm.... by the looks of this chart, AOL looks like a pretty good bet to me.
