Your style of input makes sense to me, all of the hype and talk about shorts doesn't inspire new investors to buy stock, i particularly appreciate facts and not a lot of BS.

Besides , if the company is any good , a large short position would be benifical to the stock price in the long term.

Russell, the company is in no better position than we are to know the size of any short position, in fact, they are less so given that we've at least tried to do a share count. Regardless, the stock will go up both near and long term, I am quite confident.

The other evidence for a short position, or at least some clammoring for shares, is today's ticker. Much lighter volume (i.e. not too many of us are willing to sell or flip in front of the 5/7 deadline) yet much wilder swings in bid/ask and price than we're used to seeing. Somebody's trying to get shares, this I am certain of. Who that somebody is, is anybody's guess, but I don't really care.
