Good point Scott! I haven't a clue. Was just guessing what Larry's message was. Maybe they're anticipating an upcoming split on CSCO plus it's closer to earnings on May 11th, I think. <g>

Why wouldn't DELL deserve ATLEAST as high a P/E as
CSCO?....both firms are enabling the internut revolution. Just some thoughts.


Now there's a stretch, to mention Dell in the same breath with Cisco wrt contributing to the internet revolution. I think Cisco gets the lofty P/E because the internet is considered to be just getting started, and they also get credit with having hardware involved in 85% of internet transactions. The PC business, as I know full well as an Intel stockholder, isn't (or at least isn't perceived as) growing like it used to. So Dell diversifies into big(ger) storage and Intel into internet hardware and server farms.
