Albert,

I did try to bring out that the biggest fault with NN has been their inconsistent earnings. You did that job much better.

Another fault was their CEO, Terry Matthews. My opinion is that Terry was fabulous with developing technology and almost atrocious with running a business.

NN has generally had the most robust technology complete with Network Operations, Administration and Management software - something which has endeared them to the largest corporations.

But I suspect that Terry knew he had the best products and expected the whole world to beat a path to his door. Unfortunately, his door is in Kanata, Ontario, Canada where not much of the world would even remotely consider beating a path to. Kanata is a suburb of Ottawa, for those who might have been interested. ;-)

Last year he brought in Alan Lutz as President and COO, a professional manager with high tech marketing and management expertise.

Alan has built a professional marketing and sales team to complement the technology powerhouse that NN was. I believe that the company is now on the cusp of demonstrating the success not only of its products but also of it sales team.

I could be wrong.

But I have already put my money where my mouth is.

I suggest that any further discussion of this topic be taken to the Newbridge thread. I tend to get offended when people discuss other stocks on threads that I like to follow. And I suspect that the TLAB regulars have had enough of my NN posts; or more than enough.

Best regards,
Ian.

***OT to AY OT***

I was wrong when I said NN's problem was inconsistent earnings.

Actually, they've become quite consistent. Yesterday, was the 2nd consecutive earnings warning, and the 5th in the last 2 years.

Should see another buying opportunity today... Stock is trading near $26 on Instinet.

Ian.
