Good post, Gerald. I don't think the recent runup has anything to do with Kryotech. At least I hope it isn't since I don't see any meaningful revenues for IMG coming from this venture. I'm not sure I see the advantage that Kryotech brings to the table with processors. Chip makers (Intel) have been making large gains in performance without cooling the chips. I'm not sure the additional cost for the cooling technology is worth it. Someone over on the Yahoo board made a very good point; AMD is not a serious contender in the high-end server market. Most of their sales are to the low-end consumer PC market. Reuters reported that AMD's chairman is under increasing fire from investors for not penetrating the high-end market and capturing more market share away from Intel. It looks to me like IMG has hooked up with yet another bogus marketing plan. It's just like FRIGC. Everyone looks at it and says; yeah-so what.

Sorry Gerald, don't much care either way. I just happened to follow up on a cnet news link about a new 1ghz chip which will be produced by AMD. The links led me to Kyrotech and IMG, quite by accident. I thought you folks might be interested in the posts. If you want to argue with someone -- you might ' try looking for someone who really understands the technology, and who really cares. (But that ain't me) Have a nice day. Mardy.
